Visitor Buggy Service
The Westmead Hospital visitor buggy service is available to assist visitors, carers & outpatients get to their destination within Westmead Hospital.
Please note
- Visitor buggies are driven by Volunteers and are available to anyone who cannot walk to their destination. The buggy operates on level 2 (entry level) only
- 2 buggies operate each day from Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm (except public holidays). There is no buggy service outside these hours. For transport assistance within the hospital outside these hours the Orderly wheelchair service is available
- There are 9 buggy stops on level 2 from which a buggy request can be made
- The service is not available to in-patients or those who can walk to their destination and cannot be pre-booked
- For safety reasons maximum of 3 passengers per trip
