Our healthy ageing programs help older adults to:

  • stay fit
  • do the things they like to do everyday
  • have stronger muscles
  • have better balance
  • move more.


Over 65 and had a fall or at risk of one?

Stepping On (Face to face)

A free and friendly exercise program for people 65 years and older. Build your knowledge, strength and confidence to prevent falls. Keep active and independent.

Who can join?

People who are:
  • 65 years and older (Aboriginal people aged 45 and over)
  • living at home (in NSW)
  • able to walk independently or with a walking stick.

Not suitable for people diagnosed with dementia or neuromuscular conditions.

Program runs in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Arabic, Mandarin, Dari and Spanish in Western Sydney.

All NSW older adults have access to free phone and online-based health coaching through the Get Healthy Service.

The Get Healthy Service offers coaching and online support to help make lifestyle changes and reach your health goals.

The program can support you to:

  • eat healthily
  • get active
  • reduce alcohol
  • reach and stay at a healthy weight
  • stay active during and after cancer treatment.
