Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) provides health services to some of the most culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) local government areas in New South Wales. To minimise health risks and enhance the quality of services and health outcomes for such a diverse population, Multicultural Health works with communities and health professionals to ensure that all services and programs within WSLHD are culturally appropriate and accessible to people from CALD communities.

This glossary was developed by Multicultural Health Services in partnership with NSW Service for Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS). The intention of the resource is to improve experiences of LGBTQIA+ CALD communities in health settings.
