Our Aboriginal workforce is critical to serving the health needs of our diverse Western Sydney community.

A key priority for NSW Health and Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is to ensure we continue to build a diverse workforce to support our broader community and ensure the District supports overarching policies to improve the socio-economic outcomes for Aboriginal people.


WSLHD has launched the Aboriginal Workforce Strategy 2022-2026 (AWS 2022) which underpins the Better West, Good Health - Great Jobs and Closing the Gap priorities to provide clear direction on how we will attract, recruit and retain and develop our Aboriginal workforce.
