- removal of impacted wisdom teeth.

- facial trauma
- facial infection
- oral pathology.
Health care or pension cards holders are eligible for dental-related surgical services such as:
- dental extractions
- wisdom teeth removals.
How to access this service
You need a referral from your medical, dental practitioner or specialist to access this service.
Each referral will be assessed and prioritised (triaged) according to clinical urgency.
All non-urgent or elective cases will be placed on a wait list.
You will be notified of your appointment by letter.
Referral guidelines
Please include the following information in your referral:
- patient's name and date of birth
- patient’s contact details including mobile phone and email
- medicare number
- health care or pension card number for patients seeking dental-related elective surgical services
- relevant x-rays or other medical records

We accept a medical, dental practitioner or specialists referral.
