Emergency Dentistry
We provide emergency treatment for acute dental issues such as dental trauma, preventing tooth loss or alleviating dental pain.
What we do
We provide emergency treatment for dental trauma, gross bleeding and facial swelling.
We also provide a limited dental service to patients staying overnight (inpatients) at Westmead Hospital.
Our departments include the Acute Care Clinic and the Extraction Clinic.
Priority of treatment (triage)
You will be assessed and prioritised (triaged) based on how serious your condition is.
If you are suffering from trauma, gross bleeding or facial swelling you will be seen on the same day.
Who we care for
We care for people over 15 years of age who reside in Western Sydney Local Health District and are eligible for oral health care.
