Dr Therese McGee (MBBS, FRANZCOG, DDU) is Clinical Senior Lecturer at Sydney University and examiner with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). From a broad background in general obstetrics and gynaecology, her current role as Clinical Director involves overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Westmead Hospital's Women's and Newborn Health services, with particular focus on ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe care within an environment that is compassionate and empowering for women. Dr McGee is responsible for the coordination of medical student education within the service and is closely involved in the training of the obstetricians and gynaecologists of the future.

Dr McGee is a member of the Westmead Executive, Clinical Board, Patient Care Committee and Medical Workforce Planning Committee.

Dr Goh is dedicated to providing specialist holistic care in Gynaecology, Advanced Gynaecological Surgery (Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy) and General Obstetrics.

Having had an international upbringing in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, Dr Goh has a keen interest in caring for women and families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Dr Goh graduated with honours from The University of Sydney Medical School. She achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists whilst training at Westmead Hospital. Dr Goh then went on to undertake a 2-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Advanced Gynaecological Surgery, giving her the skills and knowledge to provide holistic care in women’s health. Dr Goh did her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University in the USA.

Dr Goh is actively involved in research and medical education. She is a published researcher who has won multiple awards and scholarships for her research in women’s health. She completed a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) with The University of Sydney Medical School. She is also a mentor and strong supporter of junior doctor training.

Dr Emma Inglis

Dr Supuni Kapurubandara

Supuni KapurubandaraDr Supuni Kapurubandara is currently a practicing consultant at Westmead and Auburn Hospitals where she oversee busy Antenatal, Gynaecology & Contraception Clinics, plus operating lists for Obstetrics & Gynaecology. In 2015/16 she served as a board member for the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgery Society (AGES) and remains a member of the NSW RANZCOG regional committee. She is an Associate Clinical Lecturer for the University of Sydney, where she continues to be involved in ongoing research and education - presenting at national and international conferences. She completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales and completed her specialist training at Westmead Hospital where she attained a fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG). Her last two years of training were dedicated to completing a fellowship focusing on minimally invasive and advanced gynaecological surgery as endorsed by Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgery Society (AGES). She has also completed a year of dedicated training in general and laparoscopic gynaecology surgery and 6 months of obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound. Dr Mohan is currently working as a staff specialist at Westmead and Auburn Hospitals where she runs the antenatal and gynaecology clinics. Dr Alahakoon graduated with first class Honours at the Sydney Medical School (Sydney University) and is Clinical Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed a PhD on the role of monocytes and angiogenic factors in the cause of fetal growth restriction and pre-eclampsia and in 2007, was awarded the Ella Macknight Research Scholarship from the RANZCOG Research Foundation for this work.
