Heat-related illness prevention
The Centre for Population Health is working with Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils, local councils, non-government organisations, the Ministry of Health, and clinicians and other partners to tackle extreme heat.
We do this by advocating for urban designs that reduce the impact of extreme heat.
We also provide the community with simple and cost-effective steps to prepare for and protect health in heatwaves.
