Aims of treatment

For these patients, physiotherapy services include discharge planning and rehabilitation with an aim towards:

• maintenance of functional independence
• quality of life of patients and their families.

Referral

Patients are seen on a referral basis.

Outpatient services

Currently there is no outpatient service available for these patients at Westmead Hospital.
