What we do

General practice dentistry can include:

  • general check-ups
  • preventative education (oral hygiene, diet advice)
  • gum care/cleaning 
  • root canals
  • fillings
  • root canal treatment (if suitable)
  • extraction of teeth 
  • removable dentures (false teeth/plate)
  • splint (night guard)
  • other restorative treatment if appropriate 

Who we care for

We care for adults residing within the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) who hold  a current:

  • Pensioner Concession Card
  • Health Care Card
  • Commonwealth Seniors Card
  • Department of Veterans Affairs Card (white or gold)

Please register for dental care through the NSW Health Priority Oral Health Program.

Westmead Centre for Oral Health is situated at Westmead Hospital on Darcy Road, Westmead. The General Practice Department is located on Level 1
