Clinical trial for patients with terminal cancer

The University of New South Wales is conducting clinical trails on the use of medicinal cannabis to improve the quality of life of people with terminal cancer.

This trial is supported by the NSW Government to develop a better understanding on how cannabis products can provide relief to these patients.

The two part trial goal  is to improve appetite and appetite-related symptoms during the patients final stages of life.

The trail is open to patients with advanced cancer and over the age of 18 years of age who meet specific criteria.

Enrolments of patients will take place at the Calvary Mater Newcastle Hospital.
