How to access treatment

Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services (MHS) support people across their lifespan with a range of mental illnesses and disorders from prevention through to early detection and intervention, triage, assessment, acute and sub-acute care, and various levels of treatment and ongoing support in the community.

Mental Health Line: 1800 011 511

The Mental Health Line is a single number, state-wide 24-hour mental health telephone access service.

Anyone with a mental health issue can use the Mental Health Line to speak with a mental health professional and be directed to the right care for them.

Carers, other health professionals and emergency service workers can also use the Mental Health Line for advice about a person’s clinical symptoms, the urgency of the need for care and local treatment options.

Pay at the cashiers

When is the Cashiers Office open?

You can pay your account at the cashiers counter from 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Where is the Cashiers Office located?
  • Auburn Hospital - the Cashiers Office is on Level 2, just inside the main entrance (on the left)
  • Blacktown Hospital - the Cashiers Office is on Level 3, near the Information Desk
  • Cumberland Hospital - the Cashiers Office is in the Administration Building (Building 35)
  • Mount Druitt Hospital - the Cashiers Office is on Level 2, near the Admissions Office
  • Westmead Hospital - the Cashiers Office is on Level 2, near the Post Office
What are my payment options if I pay at the Cashiers Office?

Cash, EFTPOS facilities and the following credit cards are available at all counters (strictly payment only, no cash withdrawals):

Pay over the phone

Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling (02) 8890 3933 between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
