COVID-19 visitor policy & visiting hours
Our hospitals are on red alert due to the current COVID-19 outbreak and visitors to our hospitals and healthcare facilities have been restricted.
We need to ensure we are not putting our vulnerable patients and critical health services at risk of a COVID-19 exposure.
These restrictions are temporary and will be removed once NSW Health facilities transition out of red alert.
An exemption form must still be completed for anyone wishing to enter our facilities during this period of heightened COVID concern.
At times entry to the wards may be delayed due to emerging events on the ward.
Cumberland is a smoke free environment. Staff, patients and visitors are requested not to smoke on the hospital grounds.
Cumberland hospital has a zero tolerance approach to violence and aggression. All patients, staff and visitors have the right to an environment free from violence.
