What's in the Cumberland Hospital Library collection?
The Mental Health Library is the major mental health library for western Sydney, providing a library/information service for mental health workers, researchers and students. All Western Sydney & Nepean Blue Mtns LHD employees are welcome to borrow from the Library and make full use of its service. The Library holds over 5,000 books, 200 journal titles and 200 multimedia resources. The Mental Health Library also contains the collection for the Transcultural Health Centre (Diversity Health Institute).
How long can I borrow for?
3 weeks - Books, DVDs, CD-Roms and Videos (excluding reference). A maximum of 10 items can be borrowed from across the LHD. Items may be renewed twice - either by phone, over the Internet/Intranet or in person.
Journals are not for loan and are arranged alphabetically by their title.
How can I access the Cumberland Library catalogue?

The following databases (and more) are available on the Intranet and Internet via CIAP (Clinical Information Access Portal) Medline, PsycInfo, Nursing @ OVID, EMBASE, Cochrane, MIMS.
