Allied Health

The Allied Health workforce in Western Sydney Local Health District comprises of clinicians from a range of disciplines including, but not limited to: 
  • dietetics
  • occupational therapy
  • physiotherapy
  • podiatry
  • social work
  • speech pathology
  • medical physics
Allied Health clinicians work with medical and nursing staff, as part of the multidisciplinary team, in supporting all clinical specialties.

Allied health clinicians provide a range of clinical services, both diagnostic and therapeutic and work across inpatient, ambulatory and community settings. Allied health clinicians are also based in the Emergency Departments of hospitals across the LHD.
