Gynaecological Oncology Research

Every year close to 6000 women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer and more than 17000 are living with the disease in Australia. At Westmead Hospital, research forms an integral part of the care we provide for women with gynaecological cancers. We are affiliated with the University of Sydney and we are members of the Sydney West Translational Cancer Research Centre, striving to rapidly translate our research findings into new tests and treatments that will be of direct benefit to patients.

Your generous donation will contribute to our research program to improve the diagnosis, and treatment of these aggressive cancers, and ultimately improve the lives of women with gynaecological cancer.

WSLHD wants to improve how we help you when you or your loved ones are sick. Community and consumer engagement invites you to help us do that.
