is Clinical Senior Lecturer at Sydney University and

From a broad background in general obstetrics and gynaecology, her current role involves overall responsibility for the day to day running of the Westmead Hospital Women’s and Newborn Health services, with particular focus on ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe care within an environment that is compassionate and empowering for women.
Dr McGee is responsible for the co-ordination of medical student education within the service and is closely involved in the training of the obstetricians and gynaecologists of the future.

Dr Emma Inglis
Dr Emma Inglis [BSc(Hons) MBBS(Hons) FRANZCOG] is a
Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Westmead and Auburn Hospitals.
Dr Inglis completed her medical degree at Sydney University and her speciality training at Westmead Hospital.
Her gynaecology interests include laparoscopic surgery and managing women with general gynaecological concerns, as well as those with bladder and prolapse problems. Her obstetric interests include diabetes and thyroid conditions in pregnancy, plus she runs an obstetric endocrinology antenatal clinic at Westmead Hospital and has a public gynaecology clinic at Auburn Hospital. Dr Alahakoon graduated with first class Honours at the Sydney Medical School (Sydney University)
and is Clinical Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She completed a PhD on the role of monocytes and angiogenic factors in the cause of fetal growth restriction and pre-eclampsia and
in 2007, was awarded the Ella Macknight Research Scholarship from the RANZCOG Research Foundation for this work.

Dr George Hardas
Dr George Hardas is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. He works in private practice and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals.
