Interpreting is the verbal transmission of speech from one language to another. Translation, on the other hand, is the written transmission of messages from one language to another.
HCIS provides limited translation services. Eligible organisations can forward requests for patient related translations to email@example.com. These may include overseas discharge letters, reports or instructions for patients.
Before forwarding your request, ensure that you are an eligible client by referring to the HCIS Client List. You can also enquire with HCIS about your eligibility by calling 9912 3800.
