Education and Training

The Library offers courses in different aspects of CIAP.

  • Navigation of the Ciap site including registration
  • Overview of MIMs, Micromedex, Stat Ref, MD Consult, Best Practice BMJ
  • Advance techniques to search comprehensively Medline, Embase, PsycInfo, Nursing@Ovid & EBMR

In addition we can tailor sessions for the individual or groups to suit your information needs in the wards, or do a presentation on your research days or step you through a clinical problem in your journal clubs.

Westmead Hospital Library offers courses which cover different aspects of CIAP for all WSLHD staff. You can enrol for these courses via My Health Learning.  Searching for the course maybe a little tricky but using the course code is probably the most efficient way of searching. Alternatively use a keyword in the course name.
