The Library provides a lending and information service to staff and students of the Sydney West Area Health Service(SWAHS) free of charge. External Health professionals and students may apply for membershipby paying an annual registration fee.
Membership Fees (includes GST)
External Professional and post graduates $220.00 p.a.
AMC/ADEC candidates $110.00 or $66.00 (6 months)
Non-Government organisations $550.00 p.a.
External Undergraduate Students $55.00 (registration fees) + refundable deposit of $100.00 (gst ) free.
Undergraduate membership available for the academic year only.
Loans, Renewals & Reservations
The lending services is free to all staff and students of WSLHD. However, externals need to join the Library by paying membership fees.
There is a Self-Check machine for you to issue books only.
The maximum number of items per person across the network is ten. Each loan period is 3 weeks with the exception of restricted items (1 week) and closed reserve items (2 hours only). An item can be renewed maximum (twice) if there are no reservations on it.
Items not returned by the due date will accrue a fine of 1$ per day per item. Debarral occurs when a patron incurs a fine of $25.00 after which no renewals or further loans can be made till fines are fully paid up.
Items can be renewed online before the due date. To access your records, please register your pin number at time of registration.
